Nissan’s powertrain warranty covers the Leaf 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Polestar covers the 3. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Polestar 3 ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

Tires and Wheels
The Leaf has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Polestar 3 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.
Suspension and Handling
For better maneuverability, the Leaf’s turning circle is 3.4 feet tighter than the Polestar 3’s (35.4 feet vs. 38.8 feet).
Chassis
The Nissan Leaf may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1500 to 1750 pounds less than the Polestar 3.

The Leaf has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Polestar 3 with its rear seat up (20 vs. 17.1 cubic feet). The Leaf has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Polestar 3 with its rear seat folded (55.5 vs. 50 cubic feet).
Ergonomics
The Leaf’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Polestar 3’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.
